MMPC becomes part of MC&MCA

Words: Renae RogersA major change in the MC&MCA in 2013 will be taking over the architectural masonry promotion work done very successfully by the MMPC over the last four years.

We heard our members concerns about writing up to three different checks in order to be a part of the MC&MCA, MMPC, and the Minnesota Masonry Council. Effective January 1, 2013, MMPC became part of MC&MCA.

The activities of MMPC will be taken over by a promotions committee of MC&MCA. The committee will consist of a number of our active members already involved in the MMPC and MMC promotional efforts. We will also be adding new voices to that committee.

The MC&MCA has hired Craig Hinrichs to continue as our lead promoter of architectural masonry materials and manpower. He will also take a larger role in the MMC’s promotion of structural masonry materials and workmanship.
