BIM-M Symposium offers unique construction mobile apps presentation

Words: David BiggsThe BIM-M Initiative announces that Introduction to Mobile Devices in Construction will presented at the BIM-M 2015 Symposium on April 10, 2015. The presentation is for designers and contractors and will address mobile applications in the construction industry. Attendees will gain an understanding of how mobile applications will improve your business efficiency now.

The presentation focuses mobile technology uses during the construction project to assist with key project functions. It looks specifically at mobile applications operating on smart phones and mobile devices. Attendees will also be provided with an understanding of how mobile apps and cloud computing together can place project information at your fingertips when you are out on a jobsite, without having to carry boxes of project files or duplicate sets of drawings.

The BIM-M 2015 Symposium representing masonry within the A/E/C industry will be held in St. Louis, MO on April 9-10, 2015. The Symposium is open to architects, engineers, mason contractors, masonry manufacturers and suppliers, industry leaders as well software developers and vendors. All presentations will address the latest advances in Building Information Modeling for Masonry (BIM-M).
