As National Apprenticeship Month got into full swing, those throughout the country responsible for Apprentice Programs were getting ready to depart for Washington, D.C., to attend a day-long meeting commemorating the 25th Anniversary of Apprenticeship Training Programs. Prior to his departure to participate in that event, Herschel W. Hunt (far left), MCAA Apprenticeship Committee Chairman, discusses the training programs with the Jahnson family. Representing three generations of masons are (left to right of Mr. Hunt) Robert Johnson, 26-month Apprentice; Grandfather George Johnson, who holds Lifetime Membership Gold Card; Ralph Johnson, father of Robert and other son, Raymond, a 14-month Apprentice.
