The Milwaukee Chapter had a very interesting presentation at their June meeting on "Exposed Aggregate Panels." Representatives of Ceresit Waterproofing Corp., Chicago, gave the demonstration.
Judges for the New York City Apprentice Contest on Saturday, May 5th were John D. Raimo, MCAA Past President, and Anthony Perri, MCAA Vice President-East. George Polman, Jr. was the winner of the event held at Fresh Meadows, N.Y.
Word from Bob Evans indicates that he is touring the Continent. France, Germany, Switzerland, and Spain are on his itinerary.
Roy A. Shipley has been elected president and J. W. Akam vice president and general manager of Clay Products Ltd. News of the elections came from the Canadian company's Aldershot general headquarters at Burlington, Ontario.
Patent Scaffolding Co., Inc. has announced the opening of a new branch office at 3123 Fourth Ave., Hialeah, Fla.
John A. Denie's Sons Co., Memphis, Tenn., is now employee owned for the first time in its 83-year history. Chairman of the building materials firm is Robert R.
The 18th annual Eastern Seaboard Apprenticeship Conference was held on June 11-14 at the Concord Hotel, Kiamesha Lake, N.Y.
Paul L. Van Gulik has been appointed senior electrical engineer for Omark Industries, Inc. while Laurence E. Hoyt has been named Quality Assurance Supervisor, according to Everett Lillig, manager of the firm.
MCAA has announced the completion of arrangements for a Goodwill & Marketing Mission to Mexico and Guatemala following their annual convention in Dallas, Texas, Feb. 4 thru 13.
In the National Division of the Northwest Suburban Builders Bowling League the Szabo Masonry team captured the division championship.
The Omaha Chapter held a Dinner Dance at the Omaha Athletic Club on Friday evening, May 25th.
Mr. & Mrs. Einar Lindwall, Omaha, departed early this month for an extended tour of Europe.
