MCAA Summer Executive Board Meeting

NTANA, WIS. It was a real working meeting. From the opening Methods and Systems Clinic on Wednesday morning through the closing Board Meeting, members of the MCAA Executive Board put in long hours reviewing programs of the Association and planning a new strategy for the coming months. Kicking off on Wednesday was the Business Methods Systems Clinic which was under the direction of Dee's Education Committee. Presenting the material D. H. Heyrman and F. E. Wolcott of the Burroughs Corporation. They covered business methods used by the smallest and largest contractors in both the manual and mechanized systems. Following this Philip Vineyard of the Frank R. Walker Co. presented forms and materials available to contractors.

At 11:15 members opened the "Hi-Bond Mortar School" developed by Robert Tubesing's MCAA Research Committee. Mal Allen, Manager of Field Engineering and Development Division, SCPRF, introduced the members to Hi-Bond Mortor. A. A. "Bert" Hill, Section Head, Formulated Construction Materials Section, Dow Chemical Co., then discussed "What is Hi-Bond". Immediately following lunch, Corb Garton, Supervisor of Field Operations, SCPRF, outlined "Mixing Hi-Bond". The participants were then divided into teams and departed for the outdoor
