Ralph W. Walb, President of Gen-Dredging Company of Fort Wayne, Indiana has been elected President of the National Concrete Ma-ry Association. He was officially called January 22 in ceremonies conducted during NCMA's 44th Annual Convention in Atlantic City, New Jersey.
Mr. Walb has long been active in affairs of the National Concrete Masonry Association. He has either desired or served as a member of various committees, and for the past years has served as a Regional Vice President of NCMA.
Active in local concrete masonry groups as well, Mr. Walb is a founder past president of the Indiana Concrete Masonry Association, an affiliate of the national organization.
Equally prominent in local business civic affairs, Mr. Walb is president of the Forst Wayne and Allen County United Fund. He is a past president of the Fort Wayne Chamber of Commerce, the Anthony Wayne Chapter of the Indiana Society of Professional Engineers, and the Fort Wayne Executive Club. Mr. Walb is also a past director of the Fort Wayne Rotary Club, the Purdue Alumnae Association, and the Indiana Society of Professional Engineers.
He was graduated from Purdue University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering. With Mrs. Walb, he makes his home at 1231 West Foster Parkway in Fort Wayne.
