The three story school, scheduled for completion in late 1964, is being built for Saint Pius Tenth Parish and will have 24 classrooms, art and music rooms, a 500 seat cafeteria and a library seating 100. The 40,000 square foot building will be of open web joist construction with concrete slab floors. Student capacity will be 1200.

Other important advantages: easier and faster installing compared to other methods of shoring; no skilled labor required; easily inserted into small openings (since pre-inflation is not required, bags may be used to fill "between cargo" voids as narrow as 2 inches).

One user of Goodyear's dunnage bags reports savings of 78 per cent on labor, 46 per cent on materials. Other users claim that the bags cost less than a dollar per trip per bag.

Old-fashioned freight car and trailer truck cargo shoring methods have become obsolete for many commodities. Simply stated, air's absorption qualities, when imprisioned in the rubber dunnage bag, save time, temper and money!

A serious market disparity between supply and demand, they said, contributed to intense price competition in which a "fair and equitable profit margin on sale of company products was not always possible."

The company, which celebrates its 75th anniversary during 1964, operates 11 plants in the United States and one in Canada. Its securities are traded on the New York and Pittsburgh stock exchanges.
