The Colorado Mason Constractors Association has devised a unique postal imprint for their envelopes. Using the MCAA slogan "Helping Build America With Sound Masonry Construction" it combines a trowel, a plumb bob and a section of masonry to make an effective selling media.
Fred J. Robbins has announced the appointment of Joseph W. Rose as Group Vice President, Material Handling & Furniture Div., BLI.
Betty Darling Gwyer has been named Executive Assistant at Henry J. Kaufman Agency with Joseph Schramm becoming the Print Media Director.
Retiring as Treasurer of SCPI after many years of service is George Gammie, Illinois Brick Co. He is succeeded by C. T. Richards, Richards Brick Co., Edwardsville, III. Stephen J. Sheeran has joined W. R. Grace & Co.'s Zonolite Division as sales representative to the firm's Northern region. NCMA held its Region VI Conference Oct. 23-25, at the Hilton Inn, Milwaukee, Wis. Wisconsin Face Brick & Supply Corp. has an eye catching postage indicia. It reads "Clayzy Bricks"... A mistake proves someone stopped talking and did something.
The Houston Chapter, at their October meeting, heard an interesting presentation on plans for the growth of Houston for the next 20 to 30 years.
