Would you believe Hilton Swenson reports that he has just returned from an enjoyable trip to Alaska. Hilton says that it is a grand place, but at the time of his visit it was a little on the rainy side. Al Benzick has taken over the position as Executive Secretary for the Minnesota Concrete Products Association. Harry Strauss sends a clipping from the Wall Street Journal which discusses the development of a soil-oil product by Standard Oil Co. (New Jersey). It is reported to be able to compete with brick and concrete masonry. New member of the Minneapolis Chapter is Zenith Glazed Products Co., Osseo, Minn. Thomas J. Grieb of Darlington Brick, General Dynamics Corporation, has moved his headquarters from Pittsburgh, Pa. to 61 Riverside Drive, Florham Park, New Jersey (201-377-6634) in order to better serve the New England and Eastern Seaboard area.
