The slides will be shown by representatives of institute member companies to architects and specification writers all over the nation.

Another slide presentation covered the operation of a new, continuous feed machine developed to insulate existing concrete block and cavity walls with waterrepellent vermiculite. Immediately afterwards there was a field demonstration of the equipment. Upchurch said that a number of the machines are already in use and are opening up a large new market.

R. B. Moran, president of Texas Vermiculite Co., Dallas, was elected president to succeed Ordway. D. J. Boone of Chicago was re-elected treasurer, and L.. A. Barron, managing director. A. D. Webster of F. Hyde & Co., Ltd., Montreal, Canada, and T. W. Pickthall of California Zonolite Co., Los Angeles, were named to the board of directors.

Active in cement industry affairs Keatinge is an Honorary Member of The National Terrazzo and Mosaic Assn., a member of the American Concrete Institute and has been awarded, "A Certificate of Appreciation" by the Contracting Plasterers and Lathers International Assn. for services to that industry. He is a member of the Technical Committee of that Association.
