Clarence Jorgensen has been appointed Vice President-Operations for Marblehead Lime Company, a subsidiary of General Dynamics, according to M. J. O'Brien, President.

The election of Charles L. Howlett as Vice President-Manufacturing and a member of the Executive Board for Huron Cement Division of National Gypsum Co. was announced by A. E. Douglas, Jr., President of the Division. Total expenditures for public schools have increased 129% in the last 10 years, from $13 billion to $31 billion, according to a recently released nationwide survey conducted by the National Education Association.

Zonolite Enters Agreement

The Zonolite Division of W. R. Grace & Co. and the F. J. A. Christiansen Roofing Co., Inc. have entered into an agreement for Christiansen to act as a roof deck applicator of certain Grace products. The two companies combine more than 203 years of experience in this new venture-Grace commenced operations in 1854 and Christensen in 1879.
