Drew Expands Tool Line
C. Drew and Co., Inc., Kingston, Mass., maker of forged hand tools, is now offering a new merchandise rack which carries 36 tools for the building trade. The rack contains wrecking bars, ripping chisels, nail pullers and the Won- der and Spry bars.

Included in the rack is the original "Cat's Paw Nailpuller" developed for use in the New England ship building trade in 1805 by Seth Drew. The claw, when tapped lightly with a hammer, sinks under nail heads, even those which have been countersunk. Seth's early design gives the puller a 10 to 1 leverage ratio capable of exerting 2,000 lbs. of lift.

The improved Series-C 680 Case Construction King backhoe features a new, more powerful 84 hp Case 301 cubic inch open-chamber diesel engine with matching torque converter, heavy-duty synchromesh transmission and planetary rear axle.

The 16½" backhoe has available 9 buckets from 12" to 36", including trenching and bellhole. The loader has 5,000- Ib. lift to full height, 10,500-lb. break- out, 14 or 1½ cubic yard buckets, plus a 1-yard 4-in-1.

PVC Rainwear
A new line of low-cost PVC rainwear, introduced by Jomac Products Inc., features electronically welded seams and buttons. Jomac reports that the garments were expressly developed for the construction industry to provide an economical answer for contractors who are often required to issue durable rainwear to a temporary work force.

Light in weight and machine washable, the clothing is fully waterproof inside and out because the PVC (polyvinyl chloride) coating is applied to both sides of the strong cotton base fabric. This 10 oz. per sq. yd. material is wrinkle resistant and will not crack, peel, chip or become tacky in temperatures from -30° to 110° F. It will not deteriorate, age or mildew in moist or highly humid atmospheres.

Produced in a bright, colorfast yellow, the new Jomac line includes jackets, pants, parkas and coats in small, medium, large, X-large, and XX-large sizes.

More information about this new line of PVC rainwear as well as the names of Jomac distributors nearest you can be obtained by writing to Jomac Products Inc., Warrington, Pa. 18976.
