# Prossen Elected President of Milwaukee Association
The newly-elected president of the Mason Contractors Association of Milwaukee for 1972 is Ray Prossen of R. C. Prossen Masonry, Inc., Brookfield. He succeeds Roger Spahr, Knuth Masonry, New Berlin.
Other newly-elected officers are: Larry Gruman, Gruman Construction, Brookfield, vice president; Eldred G. Heidschmidt, D. G. Beyer, Inc., Milwaukee, secretary, and Robert Reisner, Jos. P. Jansen Co., Milwaukee, treasurer.
New additions to the association's board of directors are: James Luterbach, James Luterbach Construction Co., New Berlin; Helmuth Sawall, Sawall Masonry Construction, Brookfield, and William Dentinger, Superior Masonry Builders, Brookfield.
# Centex and Fox Merge
Centex Corporation and Fox & Jacobs Construction Co., both headquartered in Dallas, have agreed to a merger, according to a joint announcement by Frank M. Crossen, president of Centex, and David G. Fox, president of Fox & Jacobs.
The agreement, approved by the boards of directors of both companies on January 15, calls for the exchange of 1,295,000 shares of Centex common stock for all outstanding Fox & Jacobs stock. The Centex stock involved in the merger was valued at more than $38 million.
