Oury 5,000-Lb. Jumbo Hoist
Two new models of the well-known Oury-Jumbo Hoist-one with lifting capacity up to 5000 lbs., and both with lift heights up to 500 ft. have just been introduced by Oury Engineering Co.

According to Oury, choice of the new materials hoists will depend on the lift needs of the buyer. The Model 4000CA has a capacity of 4,000 lbs. at lifting speeds up to 225 fpm; the Model 5000CA will handle up to 5,000 lbs. at lifting speeds up to 175 fpm. Tower erection is faster than with any 4-poster tower on the market.

These two models join the long-established Model 3000CA Oury-Jumbo Hoist in the Oury materials hoists line. Both are automatic and operate hydraulically.

Details and specification information are included in Bulletin No. 1532. Request it from Neil Goodale, Gen. Sales Mgr., Oury Engineering Co., P.O. Box 1145, Marion, OH 42202.

"Surewall" Gains Popularity
The W.R. Bonsal Co. of Winston-Salem, N.C. reports increased usage of its "Surewall" surface bonding cement by architects and contractors in building applications ranging from breezeways and utility buildings to home additions and apartment complexes. The mixture of cement and glass fibers bonds building blocks without mortar. According to the company, independent tests have demonstrated that this new type of mortarless bonding is actually stronger and more watertight than the conventional method of bonding with mortar.

The method also is said to reduce labor and time costs substantially.
