Texas Vermiculite Co., a Dallas-based subsidiary of the W. R. Grace & Co., has been merged into the Construction Products Division of Grace. It will function as the Southwest District, under the direction of J. Ralph McLeod. Appointment of Arnie Montgomery as Field Sales Manager, western region, for Essick Manufacturing Co., has been announced by George Embling, General Sales Manager for Huber Corp. and Essick Mfg. Co.


Feit Named Reg. Manager

Thomas P. Feit has been named ZONOLITE® Pacific regional manager for Construction Products Division, W. R. Grace & Co., Cambridge, Massachusetts, effective January 1, 1976. He succeeds C. H. Wendel, who is retiring after more than 26 years as manager of the region.

Feit was formerly manager of ZONOLITE fireproofing products for the firm. He joined Grace in 1969 following eight years with the Fire Protection Department of Underwriters Laboratories Inc. rising to senior project engineer. He also saw service as a fire protection engineer with the Vermiculite Institute. A recognized fire protection authority, Feit is a member of the National Fire Protection Association and the Society of Fire Protection Engineers.

The ZONOLITE Pacific region encompasses all or part of seven states and operates seven plants. It markets an extensive line of construction and industrial products including insulations for residential and non-residential use, insulating roof deck components, and fireproofing.
