Brickwork in Italy Is Newest IMI Slide Presentation
"Brickwork In Italy"-an encyclopedic slide and text treatment of the structural and decorative uses of brick in Roman, Early Christian and Italian Gothic architecture-has been produced by the International Masonry Institute and is now available.
This extensive slide presentation (500 color slides in all) was photographed, organized and edited for IMI by Prof. Ambrose Richardson, former dean of the School of Architecture, University of Notre Dame.
The slides have been carefully catalogued and cross-indexed by subject matter; the index is detailed so that slides can be arranged in many different ways. The entire program is presented in two durable ring binders and is accompanied by Prof. Richardson's 80-page narrative analysis.
"Brickwork In Italy" can be purchased from IMI at $198 per set, a low cost considering the number of slides and the scope and quality of the material.
