►Mac Terry, executive vice president of the Colorado Mason Contractors Association, Denver, was recently elected president of the Colorado Society of Association Executives. The society, an allied group of the American Society of Association Executives in Washington, D.C., consists of more than 100 chief executive officers of trade and professional associations in Colorado.

Kenneth A. Gutschick, executive director, National Lime Association, Washington, D.C., has been named a 1980 recipient of the Award of Merit by the American Society for Testing & Materials. Gutschick was cited for his dedication in furthering voluntary standards for lime, limestone and mortars, and for related work with ASTM committees.

►Alfred H. Marks, PE, has joined the engineering staff of Ferendino/Grafton/Spillis/Candela as a vice president. The firm is based in Miami, Fla. James M. Gendron has joined General Portland's Peninsular Division, Fort Wayne, Ind., as a sales rep responsible for portland and masonry cement sales in the Detroit area.

Robert C. Kirby, assistant project engineer, Woodward-Clyde Consultants, Clifton, N.J., was named a 1980 recipient of the C.A. Hogentogler Award by the American Society for Testing & Materials. Fogel & Associates, Inc., consulting engineers and project managers with offices along the Eastern Seaboard, has elected Elliott A. Lipitz, PE, a vice president.
