MCAA Conducts Summer Executive Board Meeting In Woodstock, Vermont

Amid the secluded and beautiful rolling hills of historic New England, the MCAA conducted its 1981 Summer Executive Board Meeting at the picturesque Woodstock Inn in Woodstock, Vt., June 27-July 1.

On Tuesday afternoon, June 30, MCAA President Louis J. Helbert Jr. called the Executive Board Meeting to order and heard reports from MCAA officers, regional vice presidents, committee chairmen, and chairmen of the related trusts and committees. One item of significance was the name change of the former MCAA Design/Build Committee to the Masonry Building Systems Committee, which more adequately describes the committee's function.

A position paper, "Recommended Practices, Relationships and Responsibilities in Brick Construction," was presented by Gerald Dufour, chairman of the Liaison Committee, which has been meeting with the Brick Institute of America and the National Association of Brick Distribu-
