# A Personal Note
Dear Editor:
I have read with interest the February issue of Masonry, and I enjoyed reading the report of the '84 MCAA Conference held in New Orleans. The coverage of the events and photographs gave a good picture of the proceedings, and I was glad to read about my friends and associates in the Masonry Industry.
While the People & Events column contained a sad personal note for me, regarding my wife's death, I am very grateful for your thoughtfulness in publishing the news of her passing in your magazine in order that her friends in your Association-particularly the ladies, for whom she had a warm regard over the years would know about it.

# More on MCAA's New
Masonry Marketing Manual
Dear Editor:
Finally we have the tool to help us promote masonry that we have been needing for years. A project of this magnitude was no small undertaking, and I am delighted to see it in print. This is one of the best ideas to come along in years, and I feel it needs to be promoted as such.
I was at the presentation of this Manual in New Orleans (Masonry, February, 1984) and purchased 10 copies for use and distribution. Upon return to Houston, I presented this Manual to our local MCAA Chapter. It was well received, and I was asked by more than one person where to purchase this item.
Having seen the enthusiasm created in New Orleans by this Manual, I would like to see Masonry promote this very important new tool with a full-page ad and to continue to advertise the Manual with every future issue.

Your point is well taken. Please see page 23 of this issue.-Ed.
# Errata
Dear Editor:
On page 19 of your February issue you have a news item on the Brick Marketing Awards given by Brick & Clay Record. In the story you state that Janesville Brick & Tile was given the award for "Showroom." Janesville Brick & Tile was given the distributor award for Showroom, not the manufacturer's award. NABD has a separate award program for distributors and should be noted as such.
