# Energy Efficient Home
Editor:
Your July/August issue contained an interesting article describing an all-masonry dwelling ("All-Masonry, Energy-Efficient Home Wins Minnesota Design Competition").
In our area we are continually looking for ways to combat energy costs. It is apparent that the constructors and designers of the masonry home may have hit on a solution.
I would be extremely grateful if you would forward additional details describing the building components, floor plans and heating equipment which would allow a better understanding of how the structure works.

# Construction Directory
Editor:
I am currently under contract with Van Nostrand Reinhold to prepare an annotated directory to over 1,000 periodicals and newsletters on buildings including the subjects of architecture, interior and landscape design, historic preservation, real estate, engineering and building trades. The publications come from nearly every country in the world.
I have selected your publication for inclusion. The directory will be distributed internationally since it will have value for individuals all over the world who are involved in any aspect with buildings.
I would greatly appreciate your assistance in filling out the enclosed questionnaire. I am sure that the recognition your publication will receive will be beneficial to you.

# National Building Museum
Editor:
I am thrilled to hear of your interest in the National Building Museum and its public service announcement. We have recently prepared a new PSA and I have asked our advertising agency to forward the necessary material to you.
We are in the midst of the first phase of our building renovation which includes refurbishing the Great Hall and installing eight exhibition galleries. We will keep you informed of our progress.
I look forward to seeing our announcement in Masonry and hope space will be available soon. Thanks again for your interest in NBM.
