How do I get to St. Petersburg Beach?

From Tampa International Airport-Upon leaving the airport, take the right-hand lane to 1-275 South ("To St. Petersburg"). Exit I-275 South at Pinellas Bayway (Exit 4). Proceed west across Pinellas Bayway (30¢ toll), which takes you directly to St. Petersburg Beach and dead-ends at Gulf Boulevard. Turn right to the TradeWinds, which is about 1½ miles north on the left hand side of the road.

Will there be an MCAA Golf Tournament?

Yes, Monday afternoon, March 3rd, has been set aside for the golfers. Arrangements have been made with the Pasadena Golf Course, about 10 minutes from the TradeWinds. The cost for green fees and a cart is $40, with tee-off time at 1:15 p.m. Registration is limited to the first 50 persons.

What's the latest on the Ladies Program?

We are working with one of the finest program coordinators in the St. Petersburg area, and we think we have a winner. Some of the activities include a relaxing afternoon on the St. Petersburg waterfront with a leisurely luncheon cruise on Tampa Bay, an enjoyable morning discovering the joy of quilting, and inviting morning coffee hours in the pool area and the beautiful oceanfront beach on the the doorstep of the TradeWinds.

Who are the guest speakers for the Conference?

The keynote speaker for the Opening Session will be Jack Jackson of Dallas, Texas. Others joining him will be Paula Hawkins, U.S. Senator from Florida; Bill Young, U.S. Congressman from Florida; Paul Johnson, Mayor of St. Petersburg Beach, and W.C. Dentinger, Jr.. President of MCAA.

When is the Association's Annual Meeting?

The Annual Meeting of MCAA will be held Tuesday afternoon, March 4th, in the Ballroom of the TradeWinds Hotel starting at 1:30 p.m.
