A customer service representative will provide liaison and support functions. Lisa Herzlich has been appointed Chicago territory manager and will be responsible for representing the company's line throughout northern Illinois.

David Sprague has joined the admixture division of Master Builders as senior marketing manager. Brian Sheffler has been promoted to Mid-Atlantic regional manager and James Schott is the new Southeast regional manager.

William F. Riesberg, an architect with Riesberg Lunn Architects and Engineers, has been elected president of the Construction Specifications Institute. Other officers elected were president-elect Jane D. Baker of BSW International; vice president Kenneth E. Guthrie, an architect; vice president Thomas D. Montero of Helman, Hurley, Charvat, Peacock Architects; vice president George F. White, Jr. of Brock White Company; treasurer Knox H. Tumlin, administrator for the City of New Orleans. Directors elected were Steven L. Daniels of Ritter Brothers, Andrew J. Drozda of the David Allen Company, Tracy L. Van Niel of the Design Group Incorporated, Douglas C. Hartman of INSPEC, Richard P. Dunbar of Pleko Southwest, James E. Adkins, Jr. of Adkins Incorporated, and Barbara Richardson of Basalite.

Robert J. Fien, president and CEO of Stone Construction Equipment, has been appointed to the Construction Industry Manufacturers Association's Conexp/Expositions Management Committee.

Jennifer L. Mackenburg joins the New York office of Brennan Beer Gorman Monk, Interiors as business development manager. She was most recently with CHS Planning and Design Corporation in New York.

Garth Miller, former director of promotion for The Ontario Masonry Industry Promotion Fund, has started a masonry consulting firm.

Paul Wienke has been promoted to vice president of manufacturing of F.F. Kirchner Incorporated. He will oversee the production of all concrete block, pavers and precast at the company's three plants in the St. Louis area.

Frederick P. Hotchkiss was elected vice president of sales and marketing for Stow Manufacturing Company and Norma Hills has just been promoted to the position of sales promotion manager.
