CHANGES GROWTH

Blue Circle Cement and Kinder Morgan Energy Partners, L.P. have agreed to begin construction of a world class import and distribution terminal in Charleston, South Carolina, to further strengthen Blue Circle's extensive network of plants and terminals to better supply the strong Southeastern construction market. The new deep water terminal, located at the current Shipyard River Coal Terminal, will be one of the largest facilities of its kind in the world. When complete, the new terminal will be capable of accommodating 60,000 ton ships, storing in excess of 90,000 tons of cement, giving it the annual capacity to supply an additional 1.5 million tons of cement to the market. The facility should be completed in 2000.

This Independence Day Vocational Industrial Clubs of America (VICA) officially becomes SkillsUSA-VICA. The new name, SkillsUSA-VICA, reflects the organization's commitment to meeting the nation's need for a trained workforce in technical, skilled and service occupations at a time when there is an acute shortage of skilled workers. "SkillsUSA-VICA encompasses the technical, academic and employability skills that employers demand. Through SkillsUSA-VICA experiences in school students become assets to the workforce and to the American economy as a whole," said Steve Denby. Executive Director of Skill SUSA-VICA.

bil-jax, inc., manufacturer of scaffolding in the United States, announces Chris Cox as their new national account sales specialist. In this position, Cox will be responsible for specialized scaffolding product sales for biljax, inc., and its parent company, plettac AG, in order to provide improved access solutions for both companies.

DENVER, CO-1 1 9-year-old Robinson Brick Company of Denver, Colorado, announced today that it has acquired 100% of Robinson Block Company, 3155 Drennan Rd., Colorado Springs, CO, 80910-3810.

Stone Construction Equipment, Inc. recently broke ground for an expansion of its Honeoye, New York manufacturing facility. The new 50,000 sq. ft. addition will increase the plant capacity by 60% allowing for a significant expansion of the Company's machine shop and for the manufacture of new product lines. In support of the machine shop expansion, the company is also investing $2.5 million dollars in additional state-of-the-art CNC machines. The new facility will be operational by September 1999. In addition, a new Research and Development facility became operational May 1, 1999. This new facility, which will contain state-of-the-art model shop equipment such as in-house diagnostics, gives Stone additional capabilities for research, design, and testing of leading-edge products.

The Board of Directors of Stone Construction Equipment, Inc. announces the appointment of Lynne M. Woodworth as President and Chief Operating Officer. Ms. Woodworth was also elected to the Board of Directors at the company's Annual Shareholders meeting held on May 4. 1999. Robert J. Fien, who held the position of President and CEO since 1982, was named Chairman of the Board and will continue as the Chief Executive Officer. Ms. Woodworth serves on the Construction Industry Manufacturers Association (CIMA) Marketing Communications Council, and is a member of CIMA's Light Equipment Group Executive Committee and the Associated Equipment Distributor's Light Equipment Roundtable.

Workforce Products, a division of bil-jax, inc., announces the appointment of David Oakley to the position of lift sales specialist. In his new position. Oakley will be responsible for the sale of Workforce lift products to large, national account customers. Port Washington, WI. -Thomas K. Breslin has been appointed the new Vice President, Finance and Chief Financial Officer for OmniQuip International Inc., replacing Phil Franklin who left the company last December. In this position Tom will report directly to P. Enoch Stiff, President and CEO of OmniQuip, and will be responsible for the corporation's accounting and treasury functions, financial reporting systems and investor relations program.
