has agreed to head up an effort to establish a "brick-laying" exhibition / contest that will showcase masonry talent throughout the state of Texas and will represent Texas at the national level. He is actively involved in CTMCA and is committed to working toward future goals of TMC and CTMCA.
Danny Green
Danny Green, has been an invaluable asset to the Texas Masonry Council (TMC) throughout 1999 and 2000. Green is an active member of the affiliated local chapter United Masonry Contractors Association (UMCA), representing contractors and suppliers in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. At the state level of TMC, Mr. Green serves as First Vice President on the Board of Directors as well as serves on the 2000-2003 Strategic Planning Committee, Convention Committee and provides support for the Membership and Golden Trowel Committees. He is well respected in the masonry industry and his leadership and input has helped to transition TMC to a positive voice for the industry.
Roland Reed
Roland Reed has been actively involved in the masonry industry for twenty-five years and has always strived to instill quality and excellence in every project that he builds. With the help and support of Mike Wojno, President of Akron Brick and Block, Partners in Masonry was formed as a local Chapter of the MCAA on October 21, 1999. The organization already has 8 mason contractor members and 7 associate members. Partners in Masonry is currently involved in building a Dream House for their local Y.M.C.A. which will be raffled off to raise monies for their organization. All masonry labor and materials are being donated by the association's member contractors and local suppliers. The future goal of Partners in Masonry is to start a Masonry Trade School to train young people to become quality skilled masons and to help off-set the shortage of skilled people.
