met the challenges with
Renaissance
Masonry Units

As masonry construction professions, we wish to comment on our experience gained through the use of your product Renaissance Masonry Units, on the Museum of African American History in Detroit, Michigan:

The project was challenging, as was the budget; Architects Sims-Varner's selection of Renaissance Masonry Units permitted rapid, cost-effective stone erection enabled by the product's ready adaptability to conventional full bed (4" wythe) wall assembly; Physical characteristics such as absorption, consistency of unit size, workability on site with conventional tools, and ease of assembly all contributed to the success of the project;

Arriscraft International's trade literature claims for finished product yield, competent delivery and contract execution were all realized to our satisfaction; No special wall assembly hardware or connections were required. Conventional brick/blook wall assembly Techniques were employed. No exceptional or limiting requirements were imposed on the skill levels of our tradespeople.
