Pachl will oversee all sales and marketing initiatives. Pachl joins Ironclad from the TaylorMade-adidas Golf Company, where he oversaw national sales and service operations since 2002. Gehl Announces $150 Million ABS Transaction

Gehl Company, a worldwide distributor and manufacturer of compact construction and agricultural equipment, announced that it has entered into an asset-backed securitization financing with UBS Securities LLC. As part of the transaction, Gehl obtained investment-grade rating for the facility. Under the revolving facility, Gehl may sell up to $150 million of retail installment contracts.

"The company is pleased to have the facility in place," Chief Financial Officer Thomas M. Rettler comments. "With this transaction, the company will be able to reduce its borrowing cost relating to retail installment contracts initiated through its independent dealer network."

Proceeds from sales under the facility will be used to reduce short-term debt.

Arnco Announces Test Results

A new series of accelerometer tests has shown that skid steer tires filled with polyurethane flatproofing from Anco have less than half the "G" forces of solid rubber cushion tires and pneumatic tires when run over 3/4", 1" and 1-1/2" obstacles. The test results were announced by Arnco Technical Manager Bob Rose, who said the latest findings further reinforce the industry's contention that using polyurethane-filled tires results in a softer ride, less damage to equipment and less operator fatigue. He also added that Arnco flatproofing outperformed competitive products in earlier SAE and ground support equipment accelerometer tests.

According to Rose, the tests were conducted using a John Deere 240 skid steer, both unloaded and with a 2,500-pound load. In accelerometer tests with a 2,500-pound load, the Arnco RePneu®-filled tires scored only 09,.11 and 20"G" forces or 59%, 64% and 70% less than solid rubber cushion tires when going over 3/4", 1" and 1-1/2" obstacles, respectively. In tests with the unloaded skid steer, RePneu scored 21, 36 and .40 "G" forces-or 58%, 57% and 61% less than solid rubber cushion tires.
