M/Bed Block Systems LLC

M/Bed CMUS

The challenge of attaching fixtures to concrete masonry has been solved! M/Bed provides steel plates embedded into one or more faces of standard concrete masonry units (CMU) during manufacturing. Embeds are pieces of metal, fabricated in various configurations, that are used to attach accessories to concrete block walls. Although they are used extensively in detention buildings, such as jails and prisons, they are also used in other facilities such as warehouses, supermarkets and schools. The result is a permanent mounting area that can be installed by a mason right along with the rest of the walk. Masonry Tec Products
Moreno Valley, Calif.

Q-Xtreme Diamond Blades

Masonry Tec Products' new Q-Xtreme diamond blades drastically reduce masonry saw cutting noise. Even with hearing protection, ordinary diamond blades are very loud -120+ dB when cutting and 104 dB when spinning free. Compare that to the Q-Xtreme blade's 104 dB when cutting and 95 dB when spinning free. The Silent Core technology dampens the piercing, high pitch noise that is so fatiguing and potentially damaging to employee health. Q-Xtreme blades are specifically designed for mason contractors - fast cutting, long lasting and extremely quiet.
