Words: Fernando gonzalezIn 1993 the National Concrete Masonry Association introduced the Segmental Retaining Wall (SRW) Design Manual with the specific purpose of providing the industry with a consensus state-of-the-practice methodology for SRW design. Over the last three years the manual has become a well received reference tool for design engineers. The Second Edition of the Design Manual will be available in early November. Contact NCMA for additional information.
