An urgent message from MCAA President Mackie Bounds.
I want to invite you to take part in a unique event the Mason Contractors Association of America will be holding at the MCAA Midyear Meeting in San Antonio.

On Thursday, September 15, the MCAA will host the first ever MAC PAC/PEC Celebrity Golf Tournament, featuring one of my favorite football players, former Dallas Cowboy, Jay Novacek! You might think this is just another golf event, but it is so much more than that! All proceeds will go to our MAC PAC/PEC fund and enable us to be strong and active in Washington D.C.

Now I know times are tough, but believe you me, they're only going to get tougher without your support. The MCAA MAC PAC/PEC helps us fight negative legislation affecting our businesses like the 3% withholding tax and the misclassification of employees. These laws and regulations have a direct impact on you and me, and will hurt our bottom line. A small donation to MAC PAC/PEC can have a big impact.

I'm calling upon all MCAA members to support the golf outing and donate to the MAC PAC/PEC. Several sponsorship levels are available starting at $300.00 hole sponsorships. You can even sponsor Jay Novacek himself! And of course, Norma Jean and I would love to have you come down to San Antonio and golf in the event!

We've made it easy for you to support our cause. Simply go to www.masoncontractors.org/shop, login using your username and password, and select what you would like to sponsor. Every little bit helps!

I believe that we can send a strong statement to elected officials: our future is bright, and we are not going away. We will not stop until our mission is accomplished. Remember what this ole cowboy says, "Shoot for the moon and, even if you miss, you will land among the stars!"

We'll see y'all in San Antonio!
